FAQs

Am I wearing the right size bra?

It is important to be measured regularly as our bodies are constantly changing. Good fitting lingerie can help give you extra curves, smooth your silhouette and help you achieve your best body shape.

The following is a check list to see if your current bra fits well:

1. Does the centre front fit flat against the body?
2. Do the cups adequately cover the breast to avoid the 'double boob' look?
3. Does the underwire run around the bust, keeping flat against the body without digging into the breast tissue?
4. Does the underband fit snugly against the ribcage to provide the right level of support for the size and weight of the bust and lie horizontally around the body? (the back of the bra shouldn't ride up)

I have a tight fitting dress that I want to wear to an event coming up but i have no bum. How can I give it more shape?

Our padded pants give you a bigger looking bum, perfect for enhancing your shapely bottom. We have two different types; one adds a more subtle curve and the other a more defined bootalicious 'Jo Lo' bottom.

I need to buy a Corset but don't know where to begin?

A corset is a great way to add a shapely look under a dress, it is important to Fitting yourself you would a dress.

We recommend to go up a back size, down a cup size from your bra size so that you get more support from your corset, to uplift your boobs.

How do I get the best support from my bra without it cutting into my shoulders?

An ill fitting bra can cause problems such as wires digging in, chafing, pain in the neck and shoulders and discomfort in the breast. I recommend a bra that is down one back size and up one cup size to your normal size, so that it is fully supporting your boobs. It is important to have a well fitting back to prevent digging in and pain in the shoulders.

I have a low back dress, what do you suggest I wear under it?

For a low back dress you can opt for various options: a bustier, a low line bra or a basque. All these offer support from boning under the bust which will also sculpt and shape. If you have small boobs add in some gel inserts or go for a padded option.

I need underwear to wear under a Backless dress?

We have a number of styles suitable for a backless dress.

Stick On's - We recommend for bigger boobs to get the stick on bra as it offers more support due to its wiring.

Self adhesive bras give defined shape but not that much support so are only suitable up to a C cup. Lean forward and push boobs up while putting them on!

You can also go for a bra with invisible straps or a backless bra.

I am confused about the different bra styles - which one is right for me?

Balconette bras give uplift from under the breast and give the effect of a "swell" in the style of a Jane Austin character. The bra cups are more horizontally cut that diagonally and are great to wear with wide low necklines that don't plunge.

Plunge bras can also be padded to give more cleavage, and give cleavage boost to the already fuller busted. This style bra is the one to wear under plunging necklines that show cleavage, as the bra is cut to show off maximum décolletage.

Padded bras give a boost to the smaller busted woman. The padding can be in the entire cup or can be fuller at the under part of the cup giving extra oomph.

Full cup is best for women with larger breasts and the full cup will give more support than the other shapes.

I need to get my bridal lingerie for the big day - Help?

The lingerie you wear under your dress can be pretty and sexy but think of it more as structural scaffolding that is giving you the best shape possible under your dress. It is far more important than you wedding night lingerie.

Try on different styles and shapes with your dress and see which ones work best.

Make sure that the fabric and colour you choose fits well with the dress, so that no lines are visible and you cant see the lingerie through the dress!

Lingerie for your wedding night is to help you look and feel sexy and beautiful, its less about structure than your day style. Go for something you feel confident in!
